Appointments

Visitors wishing to conduct research may contact us ahead of time to arrange an appointment.

Guided tours

We can host visiting groups of all ages, including seniors’ groups, class trips, children’s summer camps, and more. Whether you’d like a 30-minute guided tour of the museum exhibit and archives, a presentation on the history of Bowen Island, or a longer heritage tour of Snug Cove with your tour bus group, please contact us and we would be happy to arrange a tour with you.

Facilities

The museum has one washroom on the ground floor.

Accessibility

We apologize that our building is not wheelchair accessible at this time.

Parking

There is a parking area in front of the Museum & Archives. Enter from Miller Road.

Ferries

Bowen Island is a 20-minute ferry ride away from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. The seasonal ferry schedules are available on the BC Ferries website.
