Annual General Meeting 2016
The AGM took place on June 19th 2016 and was a huge success! 49 guests attended our 49th anniversary meeting. The 50th Anniversary Revitalization Project was revealed, elections were held, and updates on the Museum & Archives were shared. Michael Kluckner, president of the Vancouver Historical Society, writer and artist, gave a heartwarming speech about the history of Bowen Island. He shared photos of his beautiful watercolours of the area and told stories about the local homes and cottages. Michael Kluckner has very kindly made the beautiful illustrations as well as the notes from his talk available on his website.
